OVERVIEW

Vascular Disease Management from Head to Toe:
This live course covers topics in vascular medicine, surgery and endovascular treatments, including diagnostic testing, clinical guidelines and the latest research and discoveries. Learn more about potential benefits and risks of various therapies, and how they might impact patient care.

RPVI Rapid Fire Review of Vascular Ultrasound:
In preparation for the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) exam, our experts will lead this live course reviewing all aspects of vascular ultrasound, and conclude with a mock RPVI exam to help ensure readiness. Vascular technologists, nurses and other providers working in the vascular laboratory will benefit from this review.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Identify clinical signs and symptoms of common vascular conditions and the approach to diagnosis and management, including new treatment options 
  • Describe surgical and interventional treatments for critical limb-threatening ischemia
  • Implement diagnostic criteria for diagnosis of vascular disorders in the vascular laboratory
  • Discuss guideline-based recommendations for atherosclerosis risk factor modification and treatment of venous thromboembolism

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This conference is intended to update practicing internists, family medicine physicians, cardiologists, hospitalists, vascular medicine physicians, vascular surgeons, podiatrists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents and fellows on current topics in vascular disease.
